What a shame that my pleasure at watching the intense activity of small birds wheeling and swooping above me catching flies was hampered by my frustration at not knowing whether they were swifts, swallows, or house martens.

I feel the same way. With birds and with plants and trees. I know I walk cluelessly within my environment.
