I do miss London

As I drove in to pick up Mollie, coming off the Marylebone flyover, I realised that I had once delivered a keynote in The London Metropole on one side of the road and steel piping to the new building on the other side.

In fact there are few parts of the city to which I haven’t delivered speeches or steel or concrete. I know it like the back of my hand and have walked or driven all over it for nearly forty years.

But my reasons to visit are scarce these days and it is like losing an old friend. I might just take the van in to show it around then park it and go for a wander.
