I got in a car the other day to discover that it had no means of connecting my phone to it and therefore no ability to listen to audiobooks or podcasts.
I had a mild feeling of panic that I was going to have to listen to the radio but thankfully I managed to endure the silence instead.
The Obvious?

I never walk listening to stuff these days for that reason (setting aside that none of us would ever have heard about Cal Newport if it wasn’t for the devices and platforms he’s famous for deriding!)
