One of the upsides of my truck driving was that I got to see part of the country and towns that otherwise I would miss. Hertford was on that list so yesterday Penny and I went there for a bit of an explore.
Pretty town with nice rivers, a bit of a castle, half timbered buildings dating back to the 15th Century and this impressive hotel built in the early 20th Century to meet the needs of early motorists.
