There is so much about Linkedin that is really badly done and I have for a long time had the theory that it has been coded by a couple of sugar fuelled teenagers just for a giggle.
If I ever needed proof just look at what the algorithm threw up this morning!

I had to chuckle with this. Scott Morrison our idiot prime minister regularly comes up on mine. There’s no way I’ll be connecting with him! 🤣

Euan,
The LinkedIn post was not a mistake. The algorithm realizes that Boris is in dire need of new friends right now and so it’s reaching out to you.

Don’t make me throw up too!
I liked Dr Pippa Malmgren’s recent post on how we’ve moved from the linear one role “Business Card” world (that fits neatly into LinkedIn) to a more flexible, portfolio based “QR Code” world.

Interesting. So many forms that ask for career experience are still narrowly focussed on jobs and full time employment. That has to change too.
